Does each tour take place in English?
Yes! Each guide speaks English fluently.
Where does the tour go?
All tours go through villages of the Cote de Nuits with the exception of the Private Exclusive Day in Burgundy which visits the Cote de Beaune, if you like. Of course, the Dijon market food tours takes place in Dijon.
Can we stop to take pictures?
Yes – weather and security permitting.
How many wines are tasted during our Wine & Voyages tour?
Pinot & Chardonnay - one winery stop with 4 to 5 wines (often more), red and white. Compare & Contrast – 8 to 10 wines (often more), red and white. Sip & Savor - 1 cheese tasting accompanied with wine and a winery stop with 4 to 5 wines (often more).
Can I purchase wine?
Yes, but there is no obligation to do so. The purchase of wine for shipment to your home in the United States and certain Asian countries is possible in the wine houses visited.
Will I see the Romanée Conti?
Yes! Pinot & Chardonnay, Compare & Contrast + Sip & Savor stop to see the Romanée Conti field where the grapes are grown. Of course, the Exclusive Private Day in Burgundy stops there if you like.
Can we taste the Romanée Conti?
Unfortunately, it is not possible.
Will I see the Clos de Vougeot castle?
Yes! Cote de Nuits tours stop to see the Clos de Vougeot castle and take pictures.
What time do we return to Dijon?
Pinot & Chardonnay and Vines & Views between 4:30 and 5pm. Compare & Contrast between 1 and 1:30 pm.
Can I be dropped off somewhere else than Dijon?
- Nuits Saint Georges – Yes
- Wine villages of the Côte de Nuits (Vosne, Chambolle, Vougeot, Gevrey, Marsannay) – Yes
- Beaune – No but we can drop you off at the Nuits-Saint-Georges train station where there are many trains to Beaune.
Can I take my luggage in the minivan?
Yes! We provide lots of space in the trunks of our minivans.
